Scott Bilbruck

sBilbruck_400xHeadshotScott Bilbruck brings over 25 years of expertise in many areas of the band and color guard industries. He began his teaching career in Los Altos High School in California and was on the staff of the USC Trojan Marching Band while earning his degree there. From there he became a teacher at Mater Dei High School, eventually becoming the Director of Performing Arts. He left Mater Dei in 2001 to do freelance work with high school bands throughout the country and was also hired by the Winter Guard Association of Southern California as Director of Operations and now serves as Executive Director. During his tenure at the WGASC the association has become a trendsetter in industry technologies and constantly moves the bar forward with educational and adjudication tools. The WGASC and it’s marching band division (MBOS) were the first organizations to implement digital judge commentary and paperless judging at their contests. e-Adjudicate and the Academy are the culmination of a completely digitized judging experience and online learning platform. This once again moves the industry forward in the 21st century.
